Ladies and gentlemen, listen carefully : this road is definitely amazing. It's the second (or third, depending on the classification mode)highest pass in the Alps, and for sure one of the most vertiginous; be careful if you are a bit emotive !!
The hairpins located in the middle of south face and near summit on north one are really tight, you may have to use the whole road width to be able to turn !
Landscape is definitely amazing, and the arrival on summit provides a great view on Ortler summit (3905 m).
Like on most high altitude passes, road surface might be a bit damaged because of climatic conditions, but who really cares about it in such a place ?
