Well known by Parisian outskirts riders,the vallée de Chevreuse and its three famous spots 'seventeen curves', 'fast ride' and Vaux de Cernay is a nice idea for an afternoon ride.
Located in a quiet countryside area, the road surfacing is very good and curves very interesting.
But be careful, it's far from being worth riding 60 kms do do it : it's overcrowded during weekends, there are many possibly inattentive cyclists, and, especially, there are often some speed controls.
