Belgium and motorcycling...I think we must make a difference beetween Wallonia and Flanders. Wallonia is designed for motorcycling : roads are beautiful, curvy, especially in the Ardennes hills. On the other hand, Flanders is very flat, with a lot of little cities, and consequently a bit boring for motorcycle travellers. If you even go there, you may find some very beautiful cities, Antwerp, and more particulary Bruges.

Roads interest

Huge in Wallonia, a week end in the Ardennes will for sure be a success. Concerning Flanders, if you don't feel like visiting Bruges...no need to go there.

Road surface quality

Quite good, excepted on less frequented roads .

Landscapes

Nothing amazing, but the Ardennes have some charm, so...why not.

General atmosphere / safety

Like in northern France, peaceful and welcoming. Concerning safety, it's European average level.

Car drivers behaviour

Quite normal, sometimes boring...the same as in France in fact.

Speed controls

Take car in cities and in long straight lines.

Formalities

If your are from European union, passport or identity card are enough.
