Wild beauty...this is undoubtely the best way to describe Ireland. A motorbike trip there, it's being sure to always cruise from one charming place to the other, and you will receive the help of its particulary welcoming inhabitants, which can help you to forget a sometimes wet climate !
Roads interest
Curves, up and downhills, on sea side, in the middle of moor. There is a lot to do, especially in the west.
Road surface quality
Take a road, add bumps, gravel, destroyes roadsides, and final touch, put a sheep in the middle. Now you got an Irish road.
Landscapes
Very very very beautiful, typical and wild. Conemara is impressive, Killarney lakes enchanting.
General atmosphere / safety
Very quite, just be a little careful in big cities.
Car drivers behaviour
Gentleman driver is a british word, and there is a reason. Civilized, polite, efficient, but without this wish that the others do like them than we could find in other countries (with mountains and purple cows, if you see what I mean).
Speed controls
I did not see any automated or human control. And, when you see that their crazy roads are limited to 100 km/h, no need to do controls !!
If your are from European union, passport or identity card are enough.
