The main quality of this pass is definitely its scenery. At the beginning, you will ride in a valley just after St Moritz, with an unfogettable view on Bernina peak - 4049 m , then you'll begin to climb along a railway used by the famous red trains. And, once you have reached the summit, you'll face a jewel -like green lake.
After, you will turn on the left towards Italy and Livigno city, using a nice to ride downhill road.
Surfacing is good, curves interesting, but reason number one to go there is definitely landscapes.
