june 25th / Vrouwenpolder - Bad Bederkesa : 609 km

Jour 2

I wake up at 8 AM. I'm afraid to feel really bad because of yesterday's dehydratation. But not at all...great, especially because weather in cloudly and cool. I feel good, and begin my way to Rotterdam and Amsterdam through polders.

I ride along Rotterdam Europort, a huge 30 km long industrial area. Then I enter Amsterdam.

Amsterdam

So great. I like the typical atmospher of that city. I do a few tourism and then go back on my way through Netherlands country.

I arrive on a curious place : Afsluitdijk....A 30 km long dike on which is the highway. That's fun to ride with sea on both sides.

I 'm only 30 km from Assen circuit now, so I have a little thought for Valentino, Colin, Marco, Max, Nicky and Cie riding crazy at Dutch TT right now.
I cross the border and enter Germany. Guess what I do when meeting the first 'end of speed limit area' traffic sign...not easy with all lugages anyway, so I quickly turn back to more normal speeds. I arrive in camping at 6PM and relax after that good day.
